As we bring to a close the celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of La Maison de la Sérénité, I am filled with immense gratitude. It has been a very full and meaningful year. We forged new connections and organized new events, including one dedicated to recognizing and thanking the partners, founders, and donors of La Maison.

For fifteen years, La Maison has been a place of care and humanity for patients at the end of life and for their loved ones. None of this would be possible without the exceptional commitment of our staff, physicians, and volunteers, who give far more than their time each day—they offer presence, attentive listening, and invaluable compassion. We also wish once again to highlight the crucial contribution of our founders and major donors, true visionaries who transformed a vision into a lasting reality. To every one of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you as well to our donors, partners, and community members who believe in our mission and have carried it forward with us throughout the years. Your support truly makes a difference.

While we celebrate today, we are also looking to the future. To continue offering completely free palliative care, La Maison needs ongoing funding, as well as new sources of strength: volunteers, committed partners, and members to serve on our Board of Directors.

Today and for the next 15 years, help your Maison—the only one of its kind in Laval.

Together, let us continue our efforts to ensure its sustainability for the years to come.
